Local editing

Images, scripts, face detection and unsynced projects are processed in your browser. We do not receive that content merely because you use the editor.

AI translation

Dialogue text, character names and the selected source and target languages are sent to Cloudflare Workers AI only when an eligible user clicks AI translate. Artwork is not included, and BubbleText does not persist translation prompts or responses. We retain operational metadata such as character counts, provider, model, duration and error codes for quota enforcement and reliability monitoring. Cloudflare states that Workers AI customer content is not used to train models or improve Cloudflare or third-party services without explicit consent.

Accounts

When you sign in, we receive your name and email address so we can maintain your plan, allowances and project ownership.

Cloud projects

Artwork and project data are uploaded only after you choose Save cloud or deliberately publish a client-proof restore point. BubbleText stores the current cloud project and a bounded set of immutable project versions for cross-device restoration. Free, Creator and Pro currently retain up to 5, 30 and 100 cloud versions respectively; older versions are pruned when the account reaches its limit. Cloud content is not used to train AI models.

Client review links

When a paid user creates a client review link, BubbleText stores a frozen proof containing rendered pages rather than the editable project. Publishing again stores a new immutable proof revision. Anyone with the private link can view only the current proof, provide a reviewer name, add page-specific comments and submit an approval or change request until the link expires or is revoked. Comments and decisions are bound to the revision that received them. Access keys are stored only as cryptographic hashes. Revocation removes all frozen proof files and blocks the link; account deletion removes the remaining review metadata, comments and editable restore versions.

Payments

Recurring payments are currently processed by PayPal. BubbleText stores provider identifiers, the selected plan and subscription status, but never receives or stores your complete card or bank account number.

Product analytics

We use first-party funnel analytics and Google Analytics 4 to understand page traffic, product engagement, conversion and reliability. Google Analytics may receive the page path, referrer, browser and device details, approximate geographic information, tool mode, export format, plan choice and conversion stage. BubbleText omits full query strings; only allowlisted UTM source, medium and campaign values are configured as campaign fields. We do not intentionally send email addresses, filenames, artwork, project names, dialogue text, PayPal identifiers or payment credentials. Our first-party funnel events use a random anonymous browser identifier and contain the same content restrictions. Browser Do Not Track is respected.

Deletion and contact

Signed-in users can delete a cloud project or delete their account from the Account page. Cloud-project deletion removes the current cloud copy and its cloud version history while leaving the browser copy intact. Account deletion removes cloud projects and versions, client review revisions and comments, profile and usage counters, clears the current project in that browser, and anonymizes retained payment audit logs. An active subscription must be canceled before account deletion.
